Chemical Handler
We are looking for a Chemical Handler to join our Catalyst team in Attapulgus, GA. Come create chemistry with us! BASF's Catalysts division is the global market leader in catalyst technologies. The division develops and produces mobile emissions catalysts as well as process catalysts and offers precious metals trading, recycling and related products and services. As a Chemical Handler at our BASF manufacturing operations in GCCP, you will play a critical role in supporting the safe receipt, handling, transfer, and shipment of raw materials and chemicals.
Working closely with operations teams, you will help ensure efficient production processes while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. During your 12 hour rotating shift as a Chemical Handler, you will:
If you have a high school diploma or GED. Are willing and able to work an 8-hour shift schedule and perform work in an industrial manufacturing environment. Can read, write, perform arithmetic calculations, and accurately follow written and verbal instructions. Have the ability to safely operate material handling equipment, process control systems, and associated plant equipment. Are able to recognize and respond appropriately to environmental, operational, and personnel safety hazards.
This position is part of the United Steel Workers Union and is covered under the collective bargaining agreement. All benefits are outlined in this agreement.

Pay transparency The pay rate for this role is $28.89 per the Union's collective bargaining agreement.
