Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a skilled Fiber Laser Operator in Oakwood, GA.
IN A FIBER LASER OPERATORJOB, YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:- Operating fiber laser cutting equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs for production
- Setting up and running laser cutting jobs according to specifications
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and production specifications
- Making program adjustments to improve efficiency, quality, and material utilization
- Previous experience operating fiber laser cutting equipment
- Previous experience with CNC programming
- Ability to create, modify, and optimize CNC programs rather than simply operate pre-programmed jobs
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Temporary-to-permanent opportunity
- Direct hire opportunities available for qualified candidates
- First shift:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM - Pay: $23.00–$25.00 per hour and up, depending on experience and qualifications
