CNC Programmer

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a skilled CNC Programmer in Oakwood, GA. Apply today if you have experience operating fiber laser cutting equipment, CNC programming, or both!

• Creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs for production
• Operating fiber laser cutting equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Setting up and running laser cutting jobs according to specifications
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and production specifications
• Making program adjustments to improve efficiency, quality, and material utilization

• Previous experience with CNC programming
• Previous experience operating fiber laser cutting equipment
• Ability to create, modify, and optimize CNC programs rather than simply operate pre-programmed jobs
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Temporary-to-permanent opportunity
• Direct hire opportunities available for qualified candidates
• First shift:
  Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Pay: $23.00–$25.00 per hour and up, depending on experience and qualifications
• Direct hire compensation based on experience and overall fit
