Maintenance Technician - B Shift
As a Maintenance Technician on the B Shift, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and repair of equipment within our manufacturing facility. You will play a vital role in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment to meet production goals.
Responsibilities- Disassemble and inspect equipment and components to diagnose and repair failures, and reassemble equipment after maintenance.
- Perform repair and installation of parts, machines, and equipment, including bearings, gears, power components, and various drive and control systems.
- Contact equipment manufacturers or vendors for technical support assistance.
- Record production, repair, and maintenance information, and complete work orders, purchase orders, or maintenance summary reports.
- Modify, engineer, or fabricate tools and equipment using soldering and welding techniques.
- Collect and discard worn machine parts and maintain machinery and work areas.
- Maintain inventory of parts, hardware, and tools, and communicate with vendors for replenishment.
- Calibrate equipment electronically and mechanically.
- Assist with spill containment and clean-up.
- Perform maintenance as per the established preventative maintenance program.
- Provide backup support for other maintenance shifts or positions as needed.
- Oversee and perform daily housekeeping duties in the maintenance shop.
- Follow and comply with all health and safety rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; automotive supplier experience preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with robotic cells and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of LOTO and industrial safety standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems strongly preferred.
- 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including off-shift support as needed.

WorkEnvironment
This role is based inside a newer manufacturing facility focusing on automotive production. The B Shift operates from 4:30 PM to 2:00 AM, providing a unique opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Bloomingdale, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
