- Cell I (1st Shift)

Objective:
Ability to do any type of CNC Turret Punch Press work whether standard, special or extremely complicated on all types of material without supervision.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good math skills.
• Good print reading skills.
• Good measurement skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Good housekeeping skills.

Key

Job Requirements:

• Setup shearing of all parts to be punched.
• Familiar with tooling and capabilities of each.
• Efficient and safe operation of CNC's and shears.
• Keep folders and tapes updated and orderly.
• Keep records of production rates, rework and downtime.
• Quality check of parts for accuracy and defects.
• Check parts against bills.
• Knowledge of proper die clearances.
• Calculate tonnage requirements on tooling.
• Correct tape errors.
• Enter program manually into CNC.

Ergonomics:

• Close vision and peripheral vision.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Unaided lifting up to 50 lbs.

Shift: This is a first shift position 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with overtime.
