Job Overview
Seamer Operator – 2nd Shift
Location:
Temple, GAPay: $17 /hour
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 5:00PM–3:30
AM Overtime:
Mandatory overtime as needed, including Fridays and additional hours based on business needs
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Seamer Operator to operate specialized manufacturing equipment used to form and crimp metal rolls for doors and building components. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail‑oriented, safety‑conscious, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and monitor seaming and related production equipment.
- Calibrate and adjust machinery to ensure proper production specifications.
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and proper dimensions.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
- Follow production instructions, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Monitor equipment performance and report issues to management or maintenance.
- Use hand tools and other equipment as needed.
- Lift, move, and handle materials as required.
- Work as part of a team to meet production and quality goals.
- Previous experience operating manufacturing or industrial machinery preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operation.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Must be able to work the scheduled Monday–Thursday, 5:00PM–3:30AM shift.
- Mandatory overtime required as needed, including Fridays.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. as needed.
- Steel‑toe shoes required.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.
- Must have reliable transportation and a strong attendance record.
