Location: Ellabell

DANIEL DEFENSE LLC seeks a Manufacturing Technician to support precision firearms production in our Manufacturing & Production department. You will operate and maintain CNC and other automated equipment, perform in process inspections, read blueprints, and document production data to ensure compliance with strict Defense & Aerospace standards. Working in our state of the art facility, you'll troubleshoot minor equipment issues, follow safety and quality procedures, and collaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve processes.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, set up, and monitor CNC and other production machinery for firearms components.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections using measurement tools to ensure quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings.
  • Record production data, quality checks, and maintenance activities accurately.
  • Follow and uphold strict safety, quality, and regulatory procedures in a defense environment.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve production processes and efficiency.
  • Handle materials, fixtures, and tooling changes in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5
  • S and lean principles.
  • Participate in training and cross-training to support flexible, team-based manufacturing.

Required Skills

  • CNC machine operation
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Blueprint reading
  • Use of precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Basic GD&T interpretation
  • Quality inspection and documentation
  • Familiarity with ISO/AS9100 or similar quality standards
  • Basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
