Maintenance Technician

Location: Donalsonville

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision metal fabrication, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

* ** What's the Job?*
* + Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on CNC laser cutting machines, press brakes, and related systems

+ Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to ensure maximum equipment uptime

+ Calibrate and align machine tooling, safety systems, and backgauges for optimal performance

+ Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout (LOTO) during repairs and maintenance

+ Collaborate with operators and external vendors to resolve equipment issues efficiently

** What's Needed?*
* + High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school certification preferred

+ At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in metal fabrication or sheet metal manufacturing

+ Hands-on experience with CNC laser cutters and press brakes

+ Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and troubleshooting skills

+ Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and control system diagrams
