Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled Robotic Welder Operator/Programmer for a sheet metal manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming and operating robotic welding systems and the technical ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.

Essential Duties:

  • Program, set up, and operate robotic welding equipment for sheet metal fabrication.
  • Adjust robotic welding programs and parameters to meet production and quality requirements.
  • Monitor robotic welding operations to ensure consistent weld quality and proper machine performance.
  • Troubleshoot robotic equipment, programming, welding, and operational issues as they arise.
  • Perform routine adjustments and basic maintenance on robotic welding equipment.
  • Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality and conformance to specifications.
  • Make necessary program or equipment adjustments to correct welding defects or production issues.
  • Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Work with production and maintenance personnel to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements/Skills:

  • Previous experience programming and operating robotic welding equipment required.
  • Strong understanding of robotic welding processes and equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot robotic systems and identify mechanical, programming, or welding-related issues.
  • Experience working in a sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Knowledge of welding processes, weld quality standards, and fabrication practices.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make adjustments to equipment as needed.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and production requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and work around manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move materials and components as required by the position.
  • Ability to safely work in a sheet metal manufacturing and welding environment.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
