Job Details
Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift 5:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday-Friday (Saturdays based on business need)
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Oversee daily manufacturing operations for assigned production lines or areas.
- Provide direction, guidance, and training to team members in line with established manufacturing policies to meet production requirements.
- Ensure work is performed with a consistent focus on safety, quality, and efficient production.
- Comply with and enforce all company safety policies to ensure accident-free facility, including identifying and correcting machine and work area safety issues.
- Provide direction to all production team members to ensure all key metrics are met accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor line staffing and recommend plans to adjust staffing levels daily to achieve established goals for each line of responsibility, ensuring production levels are met while controlling manpower costs.
- Perform routine line checks several times daily to ensure efficiency and to check on progress of machine, production and personnel.
- Sustain manufacturing methods such as 5S, Problem Solving, Visual Management, Line Organization; ensure compliance with CTQ process and other quality measures.
- Ensure all components and paperwork for next schedule are ready.
- Interact with other shift Team Leaders, Supervisors, Quality Assurance, Production Staff, and Warehouse operations to achieve smooth production runs.
- Work closely with maintenance personnel to ensure all equipment is running at optimal levels for expected output and product quality.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 2+ years of lead and/or leadership experience.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
- Ability to give and follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Basic problem‑solving skills and the ability to ask questions when issues arise.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate respectfully with others.
- Commitment to working safely and following all safety rules and procedures.
- Reliable attendance and the ability to work scheduled hours, including overtime as needed.
