Job Summary
Under direct supervision, assists with planning activities for equipment layouts in production facilities. Conducts studies to determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow and recommends methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. Prepares cost estimates for proposed projects and parts, and evaluates other miscellaneous cost factors. Supports industrial engineering (IE) activities for two facilities (Peachtree City, GA and Griffin, GA).
Travel is required between the two facilities.

Required Skills- Familiarity with performing time studies and line balancing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of business environments and procedures.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field, up to two years of experience.
- Knowledge of fundamental engineering theories, principles, and concepts.
- Experience in process setups, especially in machining and fabrication.
- Sit, stand, walk, and lift objects up to 51 lbs.
- Operate tools and machinery, and perform manual labor as needed.
- Visual acuity for detailed inspection and data analysis.
- Communicate effectively with team members.
- Travel as required, with visual acuity to operate motor vehicles.
- Combination of office and manufacturing/warehouse settings.
- Awareness of hazards such as electricity, moving equipment, chemicals, and contaminants.
- Use of PPE required.
- Environmental conditions include outdoor elements like heat, cold, and precipitation.
- Exposure to noise and vibrations.
