This leading company is an established manufacturer that has been making quality products for over a century! They are family owned, proud of their history and look forward to continued future success. Our client is in need of a Production Engineer to join their team. They offer excellent benefits, a Monday-Thursday work week and a friendly environment.
As Production Engineer, you will be responsible for:- Developing and improving manufacturing processes
- Supporting the quality department as needed
- Ensuring plant safety
- Improving efficiencies
- Leading continuous improvement projects
- Managing projects
- Developing test plans
- Creating work instructions
- At least 3 years of previous manufacturing engineering experience in a production facility. A BS degree is highly preferred, but experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Experience in an assembly facility is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and be a team player
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing methods; any certifications are a plus
