(Lavonia, GA):
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled Robotic Welder Operator/Programmer for a sheet metal manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming and operating robotic welding systems and the technical ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed. Pay is $22+/hr.
Essential Duties:
- Program, set up, and operate robotic welding equipment for sheet metal fabrication.
- Adjust robotic welding programs and parameters to meet production and quality requirements.
- Monitor robotic welding operations to ensure consistent weld quality and proper machine performance.
- Troubleshoot robotic equipment, programming, welding, and operational issues as they arise.
- Perform routine adjustments and basic maintenance on robotic welding equipment.
- Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality and conformance to specifications.
- Make necessary program or equipment adjustments to correct welding defects or production issues.
- Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Work with production and maintenance personnel to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements/Skills:
- Previous experience programming and operating robotic welding equipment required.
- Strong understanding of robotic welding processes and equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot robotic systems and identify mechanical, programming, or welding-related issues.
- Experience working in a sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Knowledge of welding processes, weld quality standards, and fabrication practices.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make adjustments to equipment as needed.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and production requirements.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and work around manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to lift and move materials and components as required by the position.
- Ability to safely work in a sheet metal manufacturing and welding environment.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
