Purpose of the RoleWe are currently recruiting General Operatives to join our Crisping House Night Shift team at Keogh’s Chips
.
This is a hands-on role working as part of our production team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Full training will be provided.
Reporting to: Night Shift Supervisor
Night Shift Working Hours- 8:30 pm to 5:30 am
- Availability to work 5 days over 7
- Flexibility to work different shift patterns may be required.
- Night shift allowance applies.
- Work on the production lines as part of the Crisping House team.
- Set up machines and pack finished products as required.
- Reject out-of-specification products.
- Ensure products conform to required specifications.
- Report and address any quality or safety issues.
- Adhere to HACCP, food safety and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards within the work area.
- Use lifting equipment, pallet trucks and/or forklift trucks where required and appropriately trained.
- Carry out general factory duties as required.
- Previous experience in manual labour, production, packing or a similar environment is desirable.
- Own transport is required, as there is no regular public transport available in the area.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
