Autodesk is seeking a Senior Manager, Event Content Strategy and Delivery to lead the end-to-end content experience for Autodesk University (AU)—our flagship global customer conference—and shape content journeys across our broader event portfolio, including One Team Conference (OTC) and TechX. This is a highly strategic, individual contributor role with broad cross-functional influence. You will serve as the strategic content advisor to senior leadership, owning content strategy and experience across AU and influencing how our most important narratives are delivered across flagship moments, such as breakout sessions, hands‑on labs, expo theaters, and thought leadership programming.
You will define content direction, guide prioritization and investment decisions, and ensure all programming delivers clear value, narrative cohesion, and measurable business impact.
You will advise and influence senior leaders across Product Marketing, Corporate Communications, Industry Marketing, and Events to translate business priorities into compelling, scalable content experiences for global audiences. This role sits at the center of Autodesk’s most important customer and internal moments. The content experiences you design will shape how thousands of customers, partners, and employees understand our strategy, products, and vision for the future.
You will play a critical role in defining how Autodesk shows up at our biggest moments of the year, and how our stories come to life beyond it.
- Lead the end-to-end content strategy and execution for AU session programming (breakouts, labs, panels, and expo theaters)
- Define and evolve the content architecture and audience journey, ensuring relevance across industries, personas, and experience levels
- Lead the development of content pillars and messaging frameworks aligned to Autodesk’s strategic priorities and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
- Drive session and instructional design, including format innovation, topic selection, and content balance across tracks
- Define content investment strategy and make prioritization decisions across competing stakeholder needs and business objectives
- Own the Call for Proposals (CFP) strategy, taxonomy, and session evaluation process
- Lead session selection and make trade‑off decisions across submissions, balancing stakeholder priorities, audience needs and business objectives
- Define and drive content governance, content production timelines, and workflows from concept through delivery
- Ensure content quality through structured review cycles, speaker enablement, and narrative alignment
- Define criteria for content selection aligned to business impact, audience value, and strategic priorities
- Act as the strategic content lead across Product, Marketing, Comms, and Industry teams driving alignment on priorities and direction; advise and influence senior leaders on content strategy, session design, and audience engagement
- Influence decision‑making on content investments, prioritization, and resource allocation
- Navigate complex organizational dynamics to drive alignment and execution at scale
- Operate in ambiguous environments and navigate conflicting priorities to drive clear decision‑making
- Define and evolve best‑in‑class content experiences for Autodesk’s flagship events
- Lead the development of innovative session formats and engagement models (interactive, demo‑driven, broadcast‑inspired, etc.)
- Integrate digital and in‑person content strategies to create cohesive, multi‑channel experiences
- Leverage data and insights to continuously improve content performance, relevance, and attendee satisfaction
- Anticipate industry trends and evolving audience expectations to keep Autodesk’s events best‑in‑class
- Position Autodesk’s flagship events as leaders in content innovation within the industry
