Hazard Community and Technical College invites applications for the position of Marketing/Communications Specialist I. The Marketing/Communications Specialist I will be primarily responsible for developing and disseminating outreach materials for retention related programs and services.

NOTE:

Position funded by Title III grant.

• Develop promotion/outreach materials for retention related programs and services.
• Work closely with faculty and student services to design, promote, and embed retention services materials and media.
• Coordinate the creation of video and audio productions.
• Design desktop publishing materials for distribution.
• Coordinate and ensure the accuracy of college-wide print jobs.
• Use data analytics to make outreach and promotion decisions.
• Publish retention related media and materials internally and on social media.
• Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree (related field) plus four years related experience, or equivalent.

Experience in desktop publishing, video and audio production, and graphic design is preferred.
