The Social Media and Marketing Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Hazlehurst, GA. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and scheduling content across social media platforms to promote upcoming auctions, highlight inventory, and build brand awareness. The coordinator will assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns, including email marketing, digital ads, and printed materials, while tracking performance metrics and reporting on campaign results.
Day-to-day tasks include monitoring social channels, responding to messages and comments, capturing photos and short-form video at auction events, and maintaining a consistent brand voice. The role also involves collaborating with sales and operations teams to gather information on auctions, ensuring accurate promotion, and supporting general marketing and administrative tasks as needed.
- Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube) and creating engaging content for business accounts.
- Knowledge of digital marketing practices, including basic SEO, email marketing, online advertising, and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics).
- Strong writing and editing skills for social posts, email campaigns, and marketing materials, with attention to grammar, clarity, and brand consistency.
- Basic graphic design and content creation skills using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar software; familiarity with photo and video editing is a plus.
- Ability to collect content on-site (photos, videos, testimonials) at auctions and transform it into compelling marketing assets.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working on-site around heavy equipment and outdoor auction environments, with a focus on safety and professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales, operations, and leadership teams.
- Prior marketing, social media, or communications experience in auctions, equipment, agriculture, or related industries is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is beneficial.
