The Strategic Marketing Manager role supports the organization by transforming market intelligence into actionable business strategies.

The position is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, monitoring competitive dynamics, guiding portfolio strategy, and ensuring that commercial initiatives align with SNF's long-term business objectives. Serving as the strategic link between Sales, R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and executive leadership, the Strategic Marketing Manager provides the insights and analysis needed to support profitable growth.

LOCATION:

Preferably Riceboro, GA, possibly remote Responsibilities Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the paper industry, including market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, industry economics, and emerging technologies. Monitor market developments, competitors' activities, technological advancements, regulatory considerations, and evolving customer requirements to identify opportunities and risks. Develop and maintain strategic marketing plans that support business growth, profitability, and sustainable competitive positioning. Ability to analyze the competitive landscape and provide actionable market intelligence to business-unit leadership and Senior Leadership.

Develop comprehensive business and market reports to support strategic decision-making. Develop and maintain market segmentation strategies across applicable paper markets and applications. Evaluate market attractiveness based on factors such as growth potential, profitability, customer needs, competitive intensity, technical requirements, and SNF capabilities. Identify priority market segments and opportunities where SNF can increase market penetration and create differentiated customer value. Translate market insights into strategies for resource allocation, product development, customer targeting, and commercial growth.

Maintain a deep understanding of the SNF Paper product portfolio, including product capabilities, applications, positioning, performance, economics, and manufacturing requirements. Evaluate product sales performance, market adoption, profitability, competitive positioning, and portfolio effectiveness. Develop and maintain the SNF Paper sales tools to support effective product selection and market development. Identify portfolio gaps and opportunities based on customer requirements, market trends, competitive offerings, and business-unit strategies.

Develop product line strategies and roadmaps that address identified market and customer needs. Connect commercial opportunities with SNF's manufacturing network to maximize profitability, capacity utilization, market penetration, and customer value. Evaluate manufacturing capabilities and constraints when developing product and market strategies. Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics to ensure that commercial strategies are aligned with operational capabilities. Identify opportunities to optimize product allocation, manufacturing footprint, capacity utilization, and product mix.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree - A technical field or business - or equivalent experience.
