Position OverviewWe are prayerfully seeking a Spirit‑led, biblically grounded Senior Pastor who is called by God to shepherd our congregation. The ideal candidate will have a heart for people, a passion for preaching God’s Word, and a desire to lead our church into a new season of spiritual growth and outreach.
Key Responsibilities- Preach and teach the inerrant Word of God with clarity, conviction, and relevance
- Provide spiritual leadership, vision, and direction for the church
- Shepherd and care for the congregation, including pastoral counseling and visitation
- Lead and support church staff and ministry leaders
- Oversee and guide the church in alignment with Southern Baptist doctrine and polity
- Encourage outreach, evangelism, and missions—locally and globally
- Lead by example in personal holiness, humility, and service
- Maintain Church office hours
- A clear and evident calling to pastoral ministry
- Agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message (2000)
- Ordained in the Southern Baptist tradition
- Seminary degree from an accredited theological institution (preferred)
- Previous pastoral experience (preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and relational skills
- Devoted to prayer, the study of Scripture, and a life of integrity
