Job Overview
With the retirement of our pastor of 30 years, Boynton Baptist Church has begun the search for a new pastor to preach the word of God and pastor our congregation. We are a small Southern Baptist church located in NWGA 20 minutes from Chattanooga, TN. We are in a much sought after school district and five minutes from a new hospital.
Responsibilities- Preach Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Wednesday evening service.
- Pastoral care with visits to the sick, home bound, and hospital visit.
- Community outreach with missions within the community and abroad.
- Must be an ordained Southern Baptist pastor with sound doctrine preaching.
- Seminary preferred.
- Must have administrative skills and work well with our deacon body.
- Must believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant word of God.
We have a comparable compensation package that includes housing.
