We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our outpatient interventional pain management practice. This role is ideal for an NP who enjoys a procedure-oriented environment, values collaborative physician support, and wants to expand skills in pain management and diagnostic interpretation.
What You’ll Do Clinical Care & Patient Management- Conduct patient assessments, physical exams, and medical documentation
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests including imaging and lab studies
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications within Georgia scope-of-practice regulations and clinic policies
- Educate patients on treatment options, preventive care, and overall wellness
- Maintain accurate outpatient records and required reports
- Perform therapeutic procedures such as joint injections, trigger point injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and infection management
- Assist physicians during advanced interventional and emergency procedures
- Practice independently while collaborating with supervising physicians as needed
- Participate in a multidisciplinary care team focused on coordinated, patient-centered outcomes
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP)
- Current Georgia NP license (or ability to obtain)
- National NP board certification
- DEA license (active and unrestricted)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Comfortable managing medications and making clinical decisions
- Pain management experience preferred but not required (training provided)
- Interest in learning interventional pain procedures and imaging interpretation
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel between Gainesville and Jasper clinics
