RN Nurse Supervisor

Wrightsville, GA – Johnson State Prison, Wrightsville, GA 31096.

Position type:
Full‑time. Shift: Day, 7am‑7:30pm with rotating weekends.

Pay rate: $55.00 per hour.

The RN Nurse Supervisor (Medical) works under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) to supervise nursing and support staff. The Nurse Supervisor works alongside a multi‑disciplinary team to provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients with a wide range of physical and behavioral health needs.

• Bachelor's degree or associate's degree with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• Wound care experience and current Wound Care Certification preferred.
• Managing complex patient care (e.g., IV, PICC, TLC, trach, feeding tube) experience preferred.
• Must show or obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening.
• Must have current AHA Cardio‑Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.
