Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients, ensuring safety and support throughout procedures
- Prep, assess, and monitor patients before, during, and after operations
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
- Maintain a sterile environment and uphold highest infection control standards
- Accurately document all phases of surgical care
- Respond to emergencies with a calm, effective approach
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum one year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications a plus)
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational abilities
- Adaptable to fast-paced and changing surgical environments
