Certified Medication Aide

Position: Certified Medication Aide - FT - Day
Location: Montezuma

Community Health Services of Georgia -  - Responsibilities:
Administer physician ordered medications including oral, ophthalmic, topical, otic, nasal, vaginal and rectal medications;
Administer insulin, epinephrine, and B12 pursuant to physician direction and clinical guidelines;
Document medication administration and/or declination following established clinical guidelines;
Report and document in resident records any unusual reaction to medication and communicate with residents, families, and health care providers;
Provide routine patient care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing as needed;
Complete dressing changes of skin alterations as established in clinical guidelines and per physician orders;
Store and dispose of medications properly;
Report changes to the licensed nurse as needed
