LPN PRN PLAN

Licensed Practical Nurse - Archbold Brooks Med/Surg

The position involves evaluating data collection, carrying out plan of care with established goals, maintaining patient flow, reviewing diagnostic test results, re‑assessing patient conditions, developing discharge plans, documenting care, maintaining examination rooms, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies, state, federal and JCAHO standards.

• Evaluate data collection and carry out plan of care and established goals
• Maintain patient flow by recognizing different levels of acuity and prioritization of care
• Review diagnostic test results and follow up per physician orders
• Reassess patients as condition changes and notify RN or physician of changes
• Develop and carry out discharge plans
• Document all care in the patient's medical record in a clear, concise, complete and legible manner
• Assist with upkeep of examination rooms as needed
• Ensure compliance with Hospital Policies and Procedures, State, Federal and JCAHO standards

• Current GA LPN License
• Previous nursing/patient care experience preferred
