PRN Family Nurse Practitioner

• Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals targeted for telehealth and in-patient care as determined.
• Lead clinic staff in behaviors, actions, and attitude (e.g., X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care. Provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient care.
• Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications; ask situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
• Actively engage with clinical leadership to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns in line with company values.
• Meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in-patient care as determined; ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forwarding charts as appropriate daily.
• Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees; implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians.
• Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses; deliver patient-centered care with attention to safety, cost, and accuracy.
• Ensure activities comply with department expectations and Federal/State regulations including HIPAA and health information management issues.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment across in-clinic and virtual settings; pursue telehealth queues to ensure proper patient follow up.
• Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests; responsibly prescribe medications and educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions.
• Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training; perform responsibilities within standard NP protocols; complete mandatory compliance training.
• Adhere to core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness; contribute ideas to improve patient experience and care.
• Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care; assist new employees with onboarding, training, and shadowing activities.
• Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees and promote a positive work atmosphere; understand and perform the physical, cognitive, and environmental demands of the position.
• Consult with patients through virtual channels; demonstrate proven experience as a Telehealth Clinician.
