Overview
Serves as clinical expert providing education, research, coaching, direct care, consultation, leadership collaboration and ethical decision making for patients and surgical services staff. Serves as a change agent and promotes quality through the utilization of clinical expertise. Provides clinical care as needed when staffing and/or case load demands. Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leader(s) as needed.
Responsibilities- Serves as clinical expert providing education, research, coaching, direct care, consultation, leadership collaboration and ethical decision making for patients and surgical services staff.
- Serves as a change agent and promotes quality through the utilization of clinical expertise.
- Provides clinical care as needed when staffing and/or case load demands.
- Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leader(s) as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Required
- 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience Required
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License Required
- BLS certification Required
- Advanced certification in field of specialty (AORN) Preferred
