Registered Nurse
Location:
Naperville, IL
Hours:
Part‑time, 20 hours per week (2 × 10‑hour days)
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday with rotating day off (7:00am–5:00pm)
Travel:
May be required to cover other clinics if needed
- Escort patients to and from exam rooms and prepare them for physicians.
- Take vital signs, record medical history and symptoms, and ensure medical chart/lab test results are available and complete.
- Perform telephone triage, patient education, and handle physician and pharmacy calls.
- Assume limited administrative duties such as setting up appointments or arranging hospital tests or admissions.
- Administer immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed; record and document all activities in the chart.
- Assist physician with procedures as necessary, including patients with conscious sedation; use lead apron during procedures.
- Respond to patient questions and concerns as a liaison between physician and patient.
- Report all test results to the patient as directed by the physician.
- Utilize current nursing practices to provide patient care while focusing on the needs of the patient and exemplifying service excellence, care, concern, respect, and cooperation.
- Current Illinois RN licensure.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required or obtainable within three months of hire. - Prefer a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting, but new graduates may be considered under specific circumstances.
Compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $32.67–$49.01 per hour, with actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
