Toombs County Jail | Georgia 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM Rotating Schedule Including Every Other Weekend

• Deliver patient-focused nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Perform assessments and document findings accurately
• Respond to sick calls and urgent medical needs
• Collaborate with providers and fellow healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain professional standards while promoting quality healthcare services
• Accountability for doing what you say you will do; build self credibility and company credibility by holding self and coworkers accountable
• Listens, understands, agrees and commits to achievement of objectives as a part of Medical Team environment
• Alters behaviors based on feedback, when behaviors are perceived by others as offensive or embarrassing
• Respects the dignity and confidentiality of all patients
• Does the right thing consistently, day in and day out, in task and relationship interactions to fulfill or further SHP’s mission and pledge as a nurse

• Active Georgia LPN license
• Current CPR certification
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Correctional or medical-surgical experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to obtain facility security clearance
