About the Role

The Bulloch County Health Department seeks a full‑time, salaried PH Registered Nurse based in Statesboro, GA.

• Provide professional nursing care under general supervision and in accordance with nurse protocols.
• Deliver community health services in programs such as Women’s Health, Child Health, and Adult Health to the general public.
• Assess client condition, develop care plans, provide treatments, educate clients, and refer to agencies as needed.
• Record observations and treatment responses, adhering to protocols for vaccine administration and specimen collection.
• Ensure safety precautions, HIPAA compliance, and accurate data entry.
• Administer vaccinations during designated events or emergencies.

• Associate degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license.
• CPR certification.
• Completion of a PHN course within one year of hire.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• One year of experience as an RN.
• Bilingual ability.

• Current State employees are subject to State Personnel Board salary rules.
• Pre‑employment drug screening and criminal background check required.
