Registered Nurse Supervisor

Job Details:
Location – Ludowici, GA 31316;
Position Type – Full Time.

This position is for a Registered Nurse Supervisor whose responsibility is to coordinate the day-to-day resident care activities for residents receiving therapeutic and diagnostic services at Coastal Manor. The supervisor will ensure care delivery is in accordance with accreditation standards, federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational and departmental policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities include:

utilizing the nursing process to assess, prioritize, plan, deliver, and evaluate responses for adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations; coordinating shift activities of the unit; referring unusual clinical and administrative problems to the Director of Nursing; and supervising professional and skilled personnel during an assigned shift. The position reports to the Director of Nursing.

• Education level equivalent to completion of an associate degree in nursing preferred.
• Formal training:
  Clinical competence in nursing preferred.
• Licensure, certifications, and registration:
  Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Georgia; BLS certification required.
• Advanced technical nursing skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of the nursing process.
• Basic computer skills.
• Minimum of one (1) year of Long Term Care experience preferred.
