Schedule:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Hays State Prison provides essential support to the nursing and medical team by assisting with daily patient care and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, and basic patient needs
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
• Support nurses with patient care tasks and clinical procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility protocols
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
• Always follow infection control and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and multidisciplinary team members

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Georgia required
• Current and Active CPR certification required
• Previous experience in corrections, long-term care, or hospital setting preferred
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Ability to work in a structured, team-oriented environment
