Position OverviewThe PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Burruss CTC provides flexible, as-needed clinical support to ensure continuity of care and coverage across shifts. This role requires adaptability, strong clinical skills, and the ability to step in and perform efficiently within an established care team.
QualificationsKey Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care within scope of practice
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to RN or provider
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
- Follow all clinical protocols, safety procedures, and facility policies
- Active LPN license in Georgia or compact license (must be in good standing)
- Current CPR certification (must be active)
- Required experience in one or more of the following:
Behavioral Health, ER, Med-Surg, or Correctional Healthcare - Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a structured, team-oriented environment
- Must be available for a minimum of 2 shifts per month
- Must be available for at least 2 weekends per monthm
- Must be able to provide some holiday coverage as needed
