Licensed Practical Nurse

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a facility in Ocilla, GA. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate (Weekday):
Total Hourly Rate $27.23 Total Gross Pay based on 36 hours $980.28 Travel Stipend Lodging $510.00 Travel Stipend M&I $200.00 Total Weekly Travel Stipend $710.00 Total Travel Compensation $1,690.28 Blended Rate/Feels like Rate $46.95

Pay Rate (Weekend):
Total Hourly Rate $36.00 Total Gross Pay based on 36 hours $1,296.00 Travel Stipend Lodging $510.00 Travel Stipend M&I $200.00 Total Weekly Travel Stipend $710.00 Total Travel Compensation $2,006.00 Blended Rate/Feels like Rate $55.72

Vacation: 2 weeks of vacation after 1 year of employment

Sick: 56 hours of sick leave per year

Holiday: 11 days holiday

Shift Details:

  • 12 week contracts
  • Night - 6p-6a

Rotation is as follows:

  • Wed Thurs,
  • Mon, Tues,
  • Fri, Sat, Sun

The requirements are:

  • At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • A valid and current LPN license issued within the US
  • A valid and current CPR card
  • Experience in ER, Psychiatric, MS or Clinic
  • Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Med Pass
  • Health Assessments
  • Sick Calls
  • Provides general nursing care to patients.
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
  • Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients.
  • Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
  • Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient.
  • May serve as leader for group of personnel rendering nursing care to number of patients.
  • Additional LPN duties given by Supervisor.
