PositionSummary
River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessments, diagnoses, medication management, and crisis intervention. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with a licensed physician and multidisciplinary team to support individuals experiencing behavioral health disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychiatric assessments and provide diagnostic impressions.
- Prescribe, manage, and monitor psychiatric medications.
- Deliver treatment to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing mental health challenges.
- Master’s degree in nursing required.
- Board certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health (General or Forensic Psychiatry preferred).
- Four years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, specializing in mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
