Nurse Medical Team Administrator

Elbert County Jail | Elberton, GA

Lead with Purpose. Care with Confidence. Make an Impact.

Southern Health Partners is seeking a dedicated Nurse Medical Team Administrator to provide clinical leadership and healthcare coordination at the Elbert County Jail.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced LPN who is ready to take the next step in their nursing career, or an RN looking for a meaningful leadership role in correctional healthcare.

While the title includes Administrator, this is not a traditional management position with a large staff to supervise. This role is primarily focused on hands-on nursing leadership, clinical coordination, patient care, and serving as the healthcare point of contact for the facility. The position works alongside a small clinical team that includes PRN nursing support and a part-time mental health counselor.

With a consistent Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule, this opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a predictable weekday work schedule.

What You'll Do
  • Provide and coordinate quality healthcare services for patients within the correctional facility
  • Serve as the primary clinical leader and healthcare point of contact for the facility
  • Complete nursing assessments, documentation, and patient care activities
  • Oversee medication administration and treatment processes
  • Collaborate with facility leadership, providers, nursing staff, and mental health professionals
  • Communicate with the facility and healthcare leadership regarding clinical and operational needs
  • Support onboarding, training, and coordination of PRN nursing coverage as needed
  • Monitor compliance with healthcare policies, procedures, and applicable standards
  • Respond to urgent clinical needs and help coordinate appropriate care
  • Build a professional, collaborative relationship with facility staff while advocating for quality patient care
Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted Georgia LPN or RN license in good standing
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification
  • Previous nursing experience required
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of clinical responsibilities
  • Confidence serving as a healthcare leader and point of contact
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with correctional facility leadership and healthcare professionals
  • Correctional healthcare experience is welcome, but not required
Full Time Benefits Include
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Company Paid Life Insurance
  • Short & Long Term Disability
  • Two Weeks PTO During Your First Year
  • Eight Paid Holidays Plus Your Birthday Off
  • Bi Weekly Direct Deposit
  • Daily Pay Available
  • Monthly Continuing Education Opportunities
  • Tuition Discounts & Reimbursement
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Company Paid Professional Liability Insurance
  • Employee Referral Bonus Program
  • Paid Bereavement Leave and Jury Duty Leave
  • 401(k) Eligibility After One Year
