About the Role:

The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to individuals and families across all ages, from infants to the elderly. This position involves assessing, diagnosing, and managing acute and chronic illnesses while emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. The FNP collaborates closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

By providing patient education and counseling, the FNP empowers patients to make informed decisions about their health and lifestyle. Ultimately, the role aims to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of life within the community through compassionate, evidence-based care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current and valid Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification from a recognized certifying body (e.g., ANCC or AANP).
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice within the United States.
• Strong clinical experience in family practice or primary care settings.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
• Additional certifications in specialty areas such as pediatrics, geriatrics, or chronic disease management.
• Demonstrated ability to work in diverse and underserved populations.
• Experience in patient education program development and community health initiatives.
• Advanced training in behavioral health or mental health care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and obtain detailed patient histories to assess health status.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions in patients of all ages.
• Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide health education, counseling, and preventive care to promote wellness and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Stay current with medical research and best practices to continuously improve clinical skills and patient care.
