Full-Time LPN

Jefferson Hospital services are provided for both inpatients and outpatients and the scope of service is consistent with the current mission of the hospital to provide quality community-based primary health care to Jefferson and surrounding counties.

The Physician's Health Group Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assists in the development and
implementation of patient care plans for pediatric patients in accordance with departmental
policies and procedures.

• Evaluates all incoming patients for services, documents the nature of the problem, and records current medications in the patient's medical record.
• Takes and records patient vital signs including temperature, blood pressure,pulse, respiration rate, height, and weight.
• Assists Physicians, Physicians assistants and Nurse Practitioners with direct patient care.
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing School
• Current LPN License in the State of Georgia
• Current BLS Certification.
