  • Oversight of all tennis facilities existing and future within Reynolds.
  • Creates partnership with Recreation Facilities Team and will assist where needed in and out of season.
  • Supervise and train staff and as needed to execute daily maintenance at all facilities including grooming, trash removal, errant ball pickups, ball machine upkeep, mold removal, facilities reports, changing and repairing equipment, blowing of the facility grounds, pollen removal from windscreens, hanging of damaged or downed windscreens, attending to the clay courts during changing seasons and weather events, keeping facility pro shop/ furniture safe and clean, checking the court lights at all facilities.
  • Responsible for placing work orders on facility dude as needed or let shop staff know to assist.
  • Assist in any facility equipment/material for clay and hard-court maintenance within the given budget.
  • Works closely with the Director of Tennis to schedule yearly court resurfacing for clay and hard courts.
  • Works closely with the Tennis Shop Supervisor on a maintenance schedule for Lake Club Tennis Center Courts and all remote locations.
  • Communicates with the Tennis Shop Staff to update court conditions during inclement weather situations such as rain or freeze in a timely and accurate way.
  • Create a seasonal plan for upkeep at all the tennis facilities gazebos, tennis shop and the clay and hard courts through freeze, rain, pollen, dry and extreme heat.
  • Assists with processing any such tennis related invoices to Reynolds AP Department.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of all equipment/ material to maintain proper operational use needed to execute the maintenance job within budget guidelines.
  • Create an inventory list of all equipment/ material to ensure we stay current with these necessary items.
  • Responsible for staff scheduling appropriately during all seasonal changes to cover the operational hours of the Lake Club Tennis Center.
Additional Duties

Educating and confirming that staff is following these processes.

  • Check tires
  • Check water levels per schedule
  • Check and order when needed batteries
  • Keep brushes up, after using brush the brushes & roller clean; sweep up area after
  • Keep roller in good working condition; clean as needed

  • Clean often
  • Use ear plugs when operating
  • Use proper gas/oil mix if needed and keep container filled

  • Blow, Broom and dustpan walks, parking lot as needed
  • Keep trash covers and holders clean
  • Remove trash from cans as needed
  • Pressure washing of walks as needed
  • Pressure washes hard courts as needed
  • Clean shade structures
  • Report and if needed schedule pest control during infestations of insects in or around the courts or tennis shop/ gazebo areas or if there is a larger animal problem such as raccoons, possums or armadillo to come and contain them.
Qualifications/Requirements/Experience/Education
  • Must have current valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledgeable with tools used around plumbing, carpentry and tennis court maintenance.
  • High school or job-related experience preferred.
  • Good communication skills for both staff and member interactions.
  • Must be able to lift 80lbs.
  • Must be able to have a flexible schedule.
Safety Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Performs job responsibilities according to the company safety and training programs.
  • Reports on safety or hazard concerns to management.
  • Create safety protocols for hazardous materials handling and storage by self and staff.
  • Reports all on the job injuries for self or staff to Director or Tennis.
  • Take personal responsibility for safety every day.
