If you love the outdoors and Lake Oconee, this summer position is for you! You will assist in the daily operations and maintenance of the marina from May - August. This position is full time for the summer and pays $10/hr + tips. You must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

• Greets and serves marina customers, and identifies boating & fishing needs
• Inspects and assists in maintenance of rental fleet boats, as well as the operation, docking, fueling, and cleaning of watercraft
• Promotes Marina sales by assisting Marina shop operations, as needed
• Assists in shuttle, as needed
• Performs daily routine Marina maintenance functions, as needed
• Assists forklift operators when launching and retrieving boat

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid GA driver’s license
• Must possess a willingness to learn and to take direction
• Must have ability to work with the public, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to adapt to established safety guidelines
• Physically able to bend, stretch, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time
• Must be able to perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions
• Boating experience preferred
