Under the direction of the Park Manager and Assistant Park Manager, the Part‑Time Parks Grounds Maintenance team member is responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the park grounds and facilities. From mowing and landscaping to trail maintenance and general repairs, every day brings something new.

• Mow, trim, edge, and maintain park grounds
• Plant, mulch, weed, and care for landscaped areas
• Assist with trail maintenance and outdoor improvement projects
• Perform general repairs to fences, benches, picnic areas, signs, and other park features
• Operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, utility vehicles, and hand tools safely
• Pressure wash, paint, and assist with basic carpentry projects
• Keep public areas, restrooms, and outdoor spaces clean and guest‑ready
• Respond to maintenance requests and safety concerns throughout the park
• Assist with seasonal projects and special events
• Help maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and organized

• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
• Enjoys working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, construction, or general maintenance is a plus
• Comfortable operating lawn equipment and hand tools
• Able to lift, carry, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
