Landscape Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

Pro Scapes of Atlanta is looking for an experienced and dependable Landscape Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily landscape maintenance operations in the Cartersville, GA area.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial landscape maintenance, takes pride in quality workmanship, and has the leadership skills necessary to supervise a crew, manage daily work schedules, and ensure properties are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a landscape maintenance crew in daily operations
• Plan and coordinate daily routes, schedules, and assigned property work
• Perform and oversee routine landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and blowing
• Ensure properties are maintained according to company standards and customer expectations
• Identify landscape issues and communicate needed services, repairs, or improvements to management
• Oversee weed control, mulching, seasonal color, irrigation, and other landscape maintenance tasks as needed
• Safely operate, inspect, and maintain commercial landscaping equipment
• Ensure crew members properly use equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment
• Train and provide direction to crew members on proper landscaping techniques and safety procedures
• Monitor job progress and ensure work is completed efficiently, thoroughly, and on schedule
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional work areas and company vehicles
• Communicate professionally with property managers, customers, and company management when needed
• Complete daily paperwork, time records, work orders, and other required documentation
• Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe working environment
• Help identify opportunities to improve property appearance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional landscape maintenance experience
• Previous experience leading or supervising a landscape maintenance crew preferred
• Strong knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance practices and equipment
• Ability to identify common landscape, turf, irrigation, and plant health issues
• Ability to operate commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers, edgers, and other landscape equipment safely
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
• Ability to lead, train, and hold crew members accountable for quality and productivity
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Dependable, punctual, motivated, and committed to quality workmanship
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position
