Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (GCVS) is seeking a residency-trained or board-certified Veterinary Surgeon to join our busy, well-established Surgery Department in Houston, Texas. This is an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with a large, highly skilled team in one of the nation’s leading specialty hospitals.

Founded in 1988, GCVS has been a trusted leader in specialty and emergency veterinary medicine for more than three decades. Our Houston hospital is one of the largest specialty hospitals in the country, home to 60+ veterinarians and supported by 300+ experienced, dedicated team members. In fall 2025, we expanded to a second location in Webster, TX, reflecting our continued growth and commitment to meeting the needs of our community.

You’ll be joining a robust and high-volume surgery service within a hospital known for its deeply collaborative, multidisciplinary approach. Our specialists work closely across services, creating an environment where complex cases are managed thoughtfully, communication is seamless, and patient care is truly team-driven.
