Associate Veterinarian

We are working on behalf of a long established, family run small animal hospital in Lake Park, GA, just minutes from Valdosta, that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its team. This is a genuinely close knit practice where people stay for the long haul. Several of the technicians have been with the hospital for more than 30 years and know it inside out, so you are supported by a team that tends to anticipate what you need before you ask.

The hospital is well equipped, with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, in house diagnostics, and a dedicated surgery suite, which means you can handle wellness, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care cases without referring out constantly. Doctors see roughly 15 to 25 appointments a day with a 2 to 1 support staff ratio, and you will have real medical autonomy backed by skilled techs, dedicated CSRs, and a leadership team that is present and involved.

Compensation is built to reward the work you actually do, with a base salary plus production, no negative accrual so slower periods do not count against you, transparent production metrics, and an annual incentive bonus tied to your production. There is a sign on bonus of up to $50,000, relocation assistance, a generous CE allowance with paid licenses and professional dues, and a 401k with company match.

• DVM or VMD from an accredited university that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US
