Saturday and Sunday rotations

About YouYou’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Your Experience & Skills- Passion for animal care and a strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- At least 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program required

About The HospitalAnimal Medical Clinic is a general practice located in Peachtree City, GA focusing on wellness/sick exams, preventative care, surgeries, and dentistry. Our hospital is a fast-paced and high-volume clinic with moderately affluent and well-educated clientele. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality of veterinary care to each patient and to serve our clients, patients, and team members with professionalism, compassion, and integrity.
Teamwork and exceptional customer service are all equally important.
We are open Monday
- Friday 7a - 6p and Saturday 8a - 5p, serving the Peachtree City, Fayetteville, Tyrone, and Newnan communities.
- Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients
- Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow
- Assist veterinarians during appointments, surgeries, and procedures
- Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments
- Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts
- Obtain vital signs and diagnostic samples
- Perform venipuncture
- IV catheter placement and care
- Perform dental prophylaxis
- Maintain proper patient care pre- and post- operatively
- Monitor patients for any significant changes and notify the veterinarian immediately if any are observed
- Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, labs, and equipment
- Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members
