Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail‑oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team. You will play a critical role in ensuring that products meet the required safety, quality, and performance standards throughout their development and production lifecycle. This position is responsible for conducting rigorous quality control inspections, performing product testing, and compiling detailed data to verify compliance with both legal and company‑specific standards.

The technician will examine various product components, investigate their functionality and safety before reaching consumers. Additionally, the role involves maintaining and calibrating test equipment, identifying areas for improvement in testing and quality control processes, and ensuring that production rates are not hindered by testing activities. To ensure success, this role requires strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, strong attention to detail, proficiency with testing equipment, the ability to work with data and numbers while working independently, ensuring that quality control processes do not hinder production efficiency.

The candidate must have a strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and excellent visual awareness. Ultimately, a top‑class quality technician should be comfortable with industry‑specific testing equipment and software and efficiently monitor the integrity and quality of products without impeding production rates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain inspection and testing reports to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Test products for safety, compliance, capacities, and performance, examining specific components as needed.
  • Inspect goods and products based on quality, safety, and performance criteria to ensure they meet internal and legal standards.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure it operates correctly and efficiently.
  • Compile, analyze, and document findings and test data, preparing comprehensive reports.
  • Report any quality anomalies or deviations from standards to supervisors and senior management.
  • Identify areas for improvement in both quality control and testing processes, recommending technical and procedural changes.
  • Consult with senior management about testing results and quality issues, providing recommendations for process improvements.
  • Discuss testing findings and potential improvements with team members to enhance product quality.
  • Follow proper safety protocols and maintain lab and testing equipment regularly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned related to quality control and product testing.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED (additional certifications in quality control, testing, or related fields preferred).
  • Previous experience as a quality technician, inspector, or testing repair tech.
  • Understanding of electronic or mechanical systems, including components, circuits, and schematics, is essential.
  • Familiarity with various testing and measurement tools and equipment used in product testing and repair.
