Senior Quality Control Professional

Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Quality Control professional to lead and support quality initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, and driving continuous improvement to meet customer and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001:2015
• Lead Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities and prepare customer-ready documentation
• Develop, update, and manage quality documentation including the Quality Manual, procedures, work instructions, and records
• Manage calibration and gage control programs, including equipment procurement, calibration, and record maintenance
• Collect, analyze, and report measurement data to identify trends, process capability, and improvement opportunities
• Support receiving, in-process, and final inspections as needed
• Communicate quality findings and coordinate corrective actions with manufacturing and engineering teams
• Conduct routine audits to ensure quality processes are followed and effective
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement through data-driven decision making

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gages
• Ability to operate and understand a manual CMM
• Mitutoyo experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of machining, manufacturing processes, and mechanical assembly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
