Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Quality Control professional to lead and support quality initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, and driving continuous improvement to meet customer and internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001:2015
- Lead Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities and prepare customer-ready documentation
- Develop, update, and manage quality documentation including the Quality Manual, procedures, work instructions, and records
- Manage calibration and gage control programs, including equipment procurement, calibration, and record maintenance
- Collect, analyze, and report measurement data to identify trends, process capability, and improvement opportunities
- Support receiving, in-process, and final inspections as needed
- Communicate quality findings and coordinate corrective actions with manufacturing and engineering teams
- Conduct routine audits to ensure quality processes are followed and effective
- Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement through data-driven decision making
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gages
- Ability to operate and understand a manual CMM
- Mitutoyo experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of machining, manufacturing processes, and mechanical assembly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Travel:
Occasional
