Description

General and Task Management

  • External Quality Assurance
    • Customer Claim Response (Product, Product, Warranty)
      • Corrective action, 8D
      • Reporting of external Quality Cost, Customer Consultation Report
  • Supplier management
    • Suppliers evaluation (new, regular, including PU and processor companies)
    • Suppliers Claim (Customer Occurrence, Reclaim)
    • Claims from suppliers and activities to prevent recurrence, etc
  • Quality for new products
    • Approval of new products
      • PPAP and ISIR submission
      • Process Audit Response
    • Early product management
      • Inspection, Shipment Approval
      • Reliability test
  • Resident Employee Management
    • Resident Employee / Liaison
      • Travel expenses, labor costs, contract renewal, etc
  • ILO
    • Import inspection of raw materials (sampling)
    • Shipmen Inspection (sampling)

    Skills and Attributes

    • Advanced computer skills.
    • Advanced verbal communication skills, including group presentation.
    • Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PPAP, APQP, MSA.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude.
    • Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control, ANOVA, Process Capability, Regression Analysis, Correlation, and Measurement System Analysis.
    • Advanced knowledge of process and procedure development and documentation.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, supervisors, and employees.
    • Ability to prepare complex written reports and other documents.
    • Ability to comprehend complex verbal and written instructions

    Qualifications and Experience Levels

    • Bachelors Degree from a recognized, accredited college or university is required.
    • Technical Degree (Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Quality Assurance, or similar) no experience required for consideration
    • Korean-English bilingual required
    • Non-Technical Degree (Business, Liberal Arts, Education, or similar) will be considered with applicable work experience as an Automotive Quality Engineer.
    • Work experience in a TS-16949 Certified QMS is strongly desired.
    • Experience in the implementation of a TS-16949 Quality Management System is strongly desired.
    • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer credentials strongly desired.
    • Achieving Competency & Measuring Effectiveness

    Physical Demands:

    • Position requires sitting at a desk working on a computer for at least 2/3 of time.
    • Position requires minimal lifting up to 25 lbs.
    • Position requires regular and reliable attendance.
    • Position requires local travel up to 10% of time.
