Quality Engineer
Manpower is seeking a Quality Engineer to join a growing automotive manufacturing team. This role is a blend of plant quality and supplier quality (50/50), making it ideal for someone with experience in both areas. The Quality Engineer will partner with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to drive quality improvements, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct quality audits, inspections, and process reviews.
- Investigate customer complaints, warranty claims, and quality concerns.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve processes.
- Work with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
- Analyze quality data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support PPAP, APQP, FMEA, and Control Plans.
- Perform dimensional inspections using CMM/VMM equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of manufacturing quality experience (automotive preferred).
- Experience with both plant and supplier quality strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Hands-on experience with CMM/VMM equipment.
- Lean Six Sigma, ASQ, or other quality certifications are a plus.
- Experience with Minitab, QMS, or MES systems is preferred.
