Quality Inspector (Ball Ground, GA) - Join a Leader in Aerospace Manufacturing

What You'll Do- Inspecting precision components to verify conformance with specifications
- Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Reviewing and verifying documentation for accuracy and traceability
- Recording inspection results and maintaining detailed quality records
- Collaborating with the Quality team to uphold strict standards
- Following safety protocols and maintaining an organized workspace
- Inspection Planning & Execution:
Ability to interpret blueprints and select appropriate metrology equipment and methods - Manual Inspection Tools:
Proficient with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges - Mathematical
Skills:
Strong shop math capabilities for calculating dimensions and tolerances - Attention to Detail:
Committed to accuracy, instruction-following, and maintaining traceability
- Experience with CMM software such as PC-DMIS or Zeiss Calypso
- Working knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards
- Background in AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems
- Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions (CAPA)
- Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAI)
- Understanding of CMM setup, operation, and calibration fundamentals
